What to Expect
Where we meet…
Sundays from 1:00 to 2:15 pm at the Glendora Friends Church facility, 827 S. Lone Hill Ave., Glendora, CA 91740.
Where to park…
Enter from Lone Hill Avenue, there’s an abundance of free parking in the lot below the church. There’s a drop-off area behind the sanctuary as well as a handicap parking space.
What to expect…
A friendly group of people with a mix of families, singles, grandparents, middle-aged, young adults, and children. We are multigenerational, multicultural and multiethnic.
When you first arrive, you’ll be greeted at the door & offered a bulletin which will tell you what’s happening that day.
Our service typically starts with contemporary worship songs, a time for announcements, offering and prayer, and then the sermon. We end each service with Communion. If you aren’t familiar with Communion, we’ll help you by explaining the meaning and how to participate. You are free to take part in Communion or not. The choice is yours.
On the third Sunday of each month we have a potluck after our worship gathering! You are welcome to join us for food and conversation, and sometimes games, which usually last until about 4:00 pm.
Do you have activities for kids?
During the church service, we offer children’s church for ages 2 to 13. All our children’s ministry volunteers have had background checks and abuse prevention training through MinistrySafe.
